Beta/Writer/Lurker?: All three, depending on the fandom.
What do you hope to get out of this Community?: I would like to find a jack-of-all-trades beta, and I'd love to offer my beta services.
How long have you been writing/beta-ing?: Writing fic? 18 years. Beta-ing? 14.
What genre of stories to you like to write/beta?: Anything except: incest (weird Havemercy exception for Rook and Thom), A/B/O (sorry), non/dubcon. I will write or beta literally anything else.
Fandoms: I currently write in (or am writing in, but need said beta): Merlin (BBC), Star Trek (TOS/AOS), Man from U.N.C.L.E., X-Men, Fullmetal Alchemist, Stargate (SG-1/SGA), Supergirl, The Librarians, Chicago Med, No.6, Inception, Gundam Wing, Captive Prince, Brick/Inception crossover, Marvel 616 (MCU sometimes), Smallville, and I can be conned into many other things. Oh, and I mostly write slash. I do also write het, which is apparently Crazy Business.
Type of beta: I've got a JD, so your lawyer fic? I can fix that. I can also fix "magic" (Welsh, Latin) spells. In addition, I've got an English education certification sitting around somewhere, likely to expire soon, and I've spent the last ten years working in mental health. In general, I'm willing to beta anything that doesn't hit my squick list (see above). I beta for spelling/grammar in cases where I don't know the canon, and for characterization and canon as well, in cases where I do.
Are there any websites you would like to recommend to us?: Uh, Google Docs? For me, Google Docs has been the god of beta-ing.
Do you have a website you'd like to show us?: None you probably haven't seen already. Maybe the Massachusetts statute-finder site, but really, no one wants that.
What sparks your creativity?: Everything. Largely show-related things, but I have a somewhat profound obsession with domesticity. Whoops.

Sorry, no LJ-cut, just a link.
